REQUIREMENTS:
To work as a nurse in the USA, you must have a minimum of 6 months post graduate experience in a hospital setting. You must be on the general part of the register for Adult nursing. You can be dual trained, as long as the general exam has been completed, (this also applies to midwives). Most importantly, to work in the USA, you will need to complete our NCLEX Educational Programme.

Interested candidates will then be interviewed by an HCL International consultant. This is an in-depth evaluation of your nursing skills, attitude, personality and your motivation to work in the USA.
Successful nurses are then offered a place on the NCLEX Educational Study Programme.
We will monitor your progress ensuring you are ready for the exam stage as quickly as possible. NCLEX exams are conducted in London for the UK nurses - for those outside the UK, please ask your consultant for your nearest centre.
Our trained consultants will work with you during the entire stage, acting as a mentor throughout the education programme and then advising you on collating all necessary documentation for the USA State Board for approval and authorisation.
Once you have passed the NCLEX programme enabling you to freely work within the USA, HCL International will set up interviews between you and USA clients.
Should you be offered a position, HCL International will continue to work with both you and the client in aiding your smooth transition to the USA.

Requirements include:*
- Must be a graduate from an accredited nursing program and have a license to practice nursing
- Must be an American Citizen or be authorized to work in the United States
- Must have at least one years experience in specialty nursing such as ICU, SICU, MICU, CVICU, CCU, PCU MED/SURG, ER, OR, CVOR, PACU, etc.
- Preferred (current) certifications are ACLS and BLS

US employers are always looking for high caliber nurses that have stayed within the acute care setting. Due to the nursing shortage, you are in high demand.
