AUSTRALIA:

For many years migrants have contributed to Australia's diversity, skill base and workforce.
Are you a skilled professional that can help alleviate Australia's growing shortage of nurses and other health professionals?
HCL International work with a range of healthcare organisations across the six states of Australia in placing qualified, permanent healthcare professionals in to some of the most exciting positions available. We recruit for:

  • Nurses
  • Physicians
  • Allied Health Professionals

The Australian government has implemented immigration regulations that enable employers to easily access skilled workers worldwide and it offers incentives to some intending migrants, particularly those seeking nursing jobs in Australia. Nurses get "priority processing" meaning that they get their Australian visas granted faster.

Our team of specialist consultants will help you every step of the way. With around half our team having come from either clinical backgrounds or from Australia/ New Zealand themselves, we understand better than anyone just how daunting a step taking a move overseas can be.  Our personalised service means you have a dedicated consultant who will support you through all the various stages. We will work with you to assess exactly what sort of job you are looking for and in which location and then match you to your 'best fit' role. In addition we will aid you with the entire relocation process, ensuring you are properly advised and guided through the immigration/visa and enculturation process.

The nursing registration boards in Australia are the statutory authorities responsible for the registration of nurses and midwives. They exist to regulate nursing in the public interest.

The registration boards in Australia ensure that practising nurses, midwives and mental health nurses have the skills, knowledge and aptitude required in their profession and are fit to practice.

The registration boards investigate any misconduct or incompetence reports and initiate formal disciplinary action deemed necessary.
